Why
is A.S.A.P. Different?
|
|
Through
a variety of settings in schools, results such as these were
uniformly achieved:
•
Seventh and eighth grade students raised their percentage scores
in reading between 19 and 30 points where the average on this
testing system was 12 without ASAP.
•
With 40 hours of reading repair with 100 students 73% increased
their reading level by 3.5 grades, 11% by 7.5 grades or more
and 10% by one to
two grade levels.
•
Tutors raised 4th
graders reading levels one full grade level in an average of
11 hours of one-on-one tutoring.
•
In just 15 or fewer
hours of small group tutoring the reading and math gap reduction
ranged from 10% to 53%
There
are barriers to learning...the Applied Scholastics Achievement
Program students learn how to recognize and over come them!
ASAP makes students
capable
of learning!
