ALTERNATIVES TO PRIVATE TUTORING

We also offer the following courses:

How to Use a Dictionary
Learning How to Learn
Grammar and Communication
Study Skills for Life
Communicating is Fun
Basic Study Manual

For each of these courses, the student uses a study guide (a tailored list of study and application assignments).  This allows the student to move at his or her own pace, spending as much time as needed to study materials.  The supervisor is free to circulate around the room and help each student as needed.

The supervisor is trained to spot and address any study barriers that are manifested by the student.  This helps the student stay focused and move more quickly through his studies.
